Seller Policy
Welcome to Ananas! We’re excited to have you sell with us. By becoming a seller, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Seller Account Registration
- To sell on our platform, you must first create a seller account.
- Sellers are required to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You must be at least 18 years old to register as a seller.
- Product Listings
- All products must comply with our platform’s quality standards.
- Products must be legal and safe for sale.
- Sellers must provide accurate descriptions and images of the products.
- We reserve the right to remove any listings that are deemed inappropriate or violate our policies.
- Pricing & Fees
- Sellers are responsible for setting their own prices for products.
- A flat fee of 41 EGP will be charged to the customer for shipping per item sold.
- Our platform charges a 10% commission fee on each sale made through our site.
- Payment processing fees will also apply.
- Shipping & Handling
- Sellers are responsible for shipping products to customers within 3-5 business days after an order is placed.
- Sellers must provide tracking information to the buyer once the product is shipped.
- Failure to ship products in a timely manner may result in penalties or removal from the platform.
- Returns and Refunds
- Sellers are responsible for handling returns, exchanges, and refunds.
- Refunds for returns will be processed by the platform during the 14-day return period after the customer receives the product.
- Payments to sellers will not be released until after the 14-day period from the customer’s receipt of the product. This ensures that there are no return or refund requests during that time frame.
- If a customer requests a return within the 14-day period, the platform will process the refund to the customer. After the 14-day period, the sale is considered final, and the funds will be transferred to the seller (after deducting the platform’s 10% commission).
- Sellers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or was incorrectly shipped.
- Customer Support
- Sellers must respond to customer inquiries promptly, within 24-48 hours.
- Poor customer service may result in penalties or account suspension.
- Prohibited Products Sellers are not allowed to list or sell the following types of products:
- Counterfeit or pirated products: This includes any items that are fake, imitation, or illegally copied from original branded products.
- Hazardous materials or illegal substances: This refers to any products that are dangerous, toxic, or otherwise harmful to health or the environment.
- Products that violate intellectual property rights: Any items that infringe on trademarks, patents, or copyrights, including unauthorized reproductions of branded goods, are strictly prohibited.
- Account Suspension and Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any seller account that violates our policies, engages in fraudulent activity, or fails to meet our performance standards.
- Sellers can be removed from the platform at any time for violating our terms and conditions.
- Payments
- Payments for products sold will be processed every 14 days after the buyer’s order is confirmed as delivered.
- For COD (Cash on Delivery) orders, the payment will be collected by our courier partner at the time of delivery. Once the payment is received, we will hold the funds for 14 days to ensure the customer is satisfied and no return request has been made. After the 14-day period, we will deduct the seller’s 10% commission and transfer the remaining amount to the seller.
- Payments for online orders will follow the same procedure, with funds being held for 14 days after confirmation of delivery to the customer.
- After 14 days, we will release the payment to the seller, ensuring there are no return requests or disputes.
- Limitation of Liability
- We are not responsible for any disputes, losses, or damages resulting from transactions between buyers and sellers.
- Sellers are responsible for handling their own taxes, including income tax and VAT (if applicable).
- Changes to the Policy
- We reserve the right to update or change this Seller Policy at any time. Sellers will be notified of any significant changes.
